Job Description The Global Supplier Management Group (GSMG) is an organization that plays a pivotal role in driving efficient sourcing practices for our company through the execution of a comprehensive end-to-end sourcing process. Our Business Operations team provides foundational and centralized support for the GSMG organization (Direct, Indirect, and Research procurement) by developing and maintaining excellence in the processes and systems we use, by driving efficiency through our sourcing and contracting work, and by continually seeking improvements via our operational excellence programs.
This Associate Specialist will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end processes and policies that drive our core procurement activities with a key focus on Sourcing and Contracting.- They will support projects that maintain and improve our current Sourcing to Contracting framework, including policies and supporting systems.- They will partner closely with stakeholders throughout GSMG, as well as other functional areas such as Legal, audit groups, Global Business Services, Finance, and Global Compliance in support of these initiatives.- ---------------------

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Sourcing & Contracting Process: - Provide ongoing support for sourcing and contracting in our company's Procurement systems.
- Support initiatives to drive process & system adoption and standardization across stakeholders in support of our use of our Source to Contract process for the company globally.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements, and work with our IT team to communicate requirements related to changes and enhancements.
- Support implementation of global business processes and changes including process documentation, testing, change management and training.
Process and Policy adherence :
- Support project initiatives related to maintenance and improvements related to Procurement.
- Support GSMG, GWES (Global Workplace and Enterprise Services) and SDPM (Supplier Development and Performance Management) related processes including various governance bodies.

Qualifications: Education: - Bachelor's degree in legal, Procurement, Compliance or related field.
- Minimum 0 to 2 years of Sourcing and/or Contracting experience
Required: - Analytical, strong attention to detail and organized.
- Ability to communicate effectively via oral and written communication.
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to challenge current thinking/processes.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred: - Experience working in a corporate environment.
- Understanding of the Procurement function and core category management processes.
- Working knowledge and experience with the SAP Ariba and/or other ERP systems

U.S. Hybrid Work Model Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. -This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected US salary range:
$62,000.00 - $97,600.00
