Job Description

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all financial aspects of our organization. The CFO will be responsible for managing and directing our financial strategy, planning, and operations in order to achieve our business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures and controls to ensure the integrity of company financial statements and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Lead the development and execution of financial strategies, plans and forecasts to achieve business objectives
  • Oversee financial reporting, including the preparation and presentation of financial statements, reports and analysis to senior management and Board of Directors
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and completeness of financial plans and forecasts
  • Manage credit collections, cash management, and revenue management to improve cash flow and profitability
  • Lead Mergers and Acquisitions activities, including financial modeling, due diligence and deal structuring
  • Ensure compliance with government contracts and funding requirements
  • Manage fiscal management, budget preparation, banking relationships, legal counsel consulting, risk management, financial records, vendor selection, accounting oversight, and payroll processing
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision making and improve business performance
  • Ensure compliance with government funding compliance and purchasing policies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analytics
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful financial strategies
  • Experience in managing banking relationships and negotiating financing agreements
  • Experience in leading Mergers and Acquisitions activities
  • Experience in government contracts and funding compliance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • CPA certification a plus
