As we expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced Freight Broker with a proven book of business to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview: The Freight Broker with a Book of Business will be responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of clients while sourcing and negotiating freight solutions. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced professional with a deep understanding of the logistics industry, strong negotiation skills, and a successful track record of managing customer relationships. The ideal candidate will leverage their book of business to drive growth and foster long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Existing Client Relationships: Utilize your existing book of business to maintain strong relationships with current clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• New Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand the client base, leveraging your industry connections and business acumen.
• Freight Coordination: Source and negotiate freight rates with carriers, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation solutions for clients.
• Contract Negotiation: Lead discussions with clients and carriers to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
• Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive pricing to provide clients with the best possible solutions.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues that may arise during the transportation process, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction.
• Sales & Performance Goals: Meet or exceed established sales and performance targets, including revenue and profit margins.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all transactions, communications, and contracts. Provide regular reports to management on performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record as a Freight Broker with an established book of business.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics, transportation, and supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to source competitive freight rates.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for business development.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in using transportation management systems (TMS), CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Have a Book of Business you can bring to the team!

We are offering $1,000.00 for the first 3 months

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Job Type: Full-time/Remote

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
