Full-Time Nanny Position – Leonardo, NJ
A loving and busy private family residing in a 5-bedroom home in Leonardo, New Jersey, is seeking an experienced, engaging, and professional Career Nanny to join their household team. This is a full-time, non-live-in position with a targeted start date of May 2025.
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
The primary focus will be caring for the family’s 1.5-year-old daughter, and supporting the needs of their 4-year-old daughter, who will attend summer camp and preschool during the school year. The ideal candidate will be warm, dynamic, creative, and bring an educational edge to daily routines. The family values curiosity, patience, and the ability to create teachable moments through play and exploration. Comfort around their friendly and inquisitive dog, Rusty, is a must!
Provide attentive and nurturing care to a toddler and occasional care for the preschooler
Engage children in developmentally appropriate activities that encourage learning and creativity
Light housekeeping (tidying up play areas, kitchen, children's laundry)
Meal preparation for children and assistance with family lunch and dinner
Occasional errands, such as weekly grocery pickup
Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment
Use of family vehicle as needed
A career nanny with a genuine love for children, a professional demeanor, and a worldly, curious personality
Someone who can complement and connect with their older daughter’s sensitive and inquisitive nature
Creativity, flexibility, and the ability to foster curiosity and discovery in children
A proactive and thoughtful communicator
Minimum 5 years of full-time nanny experience, including with infants, toddlers, and multiple children
CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified within the first 90 days
Fluent in English
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be 21+ years old, have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation
Able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening
Non-smoker
Strong professional references (minimum of 2)
Spanish-speaking or bilingual is a plus
Willingness to travel domestically or internationally is a plus
Lives within a 45-minute commute to Leonardo, NJ
Annual salary: $70,000–$75,000+, depending on experience (W-2)
