Job Description

Banyan Living is a vibrant and expanding company focused on providing exceptional living experiences in our luxury apartment communities throughout Cleveland, Akron, and Columbus. We are currently seeking a skilled Painter to join our dedicated maintenance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as needed.
  • Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, trim, and other surfaces.
  • Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired look.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Conduct touch-ups and repairs as needed to maintain a high standard of appearance.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff to complete projects on time.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a painter, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Strong knowledge of paint types, finishes, and application techniques.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a good sense of aesthetics.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
