Do you have passion for Security? E. & J. Gallo Winery is seeking a Part-Time Executive Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for driving owners and senior officers of the company and family members in company and family owned vehicles.
What You Will Do
Ensure Safety:
• Drives owners and senior officers of the company and family members in a safe, professional and courteaous manner
• Aids passengers entering and exiting vehicles by opening and closing doors, holding umbrella in inclement weather and physically assisting passengers when requested.
• Loads and unloads all luggage
• Follows driving directions using maps or GPS applications
What You Will Need
• High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
• Prior law enforcement experience.
• Required to possess an HR218 CCW.
• Within the first week of employment, successfully completes a course of instruction to obtain and maintain a Guard Card from the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services.
• Obtains and maintains a Concealed Weapons permit; and an Exposed Weapons permit from the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services.
• Required to have a background which would not preclude a security clearance granted.
• Required to sign, accept, and adhere to Gallo's confidentiality agreement.
• Required to be flexible with schedule to accommodate passenger needs.
• Required to work nights, weekends and holidays as part of a rotating shift.
• Required to work short shifts or overtime, when necessary.
• Candidates for this position must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Required to obtain a California driver's license or appropriate state driver's license within 30 days of hire.
• Required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds of luggage in and out of vehicle/trunk.
• Maintains current CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Skilled in writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
• Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
What Will Set you Apart
• Experience as an executive limousine driver preferred.
• Above average verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Skilled in Microsoft Windows and MS Word at a Basic level.
• Currently possesses a valid BSIS Guard Card and exposed weapon permit
• Currently possesses a valid CPR & Basic First Aid certificate.
Compensation:
• Hiring Salary Range Posted: $24.13 - $32.60 / hour
• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
