uality Engineer position at our facility in
Lincoln, NE . In this role, the individual will have the responsibility of planning, developing, and executing a diverse range of quality improvement projects and programs, leveraging extensive knowledge of quality and manufacturing processes.
This role pertains to the second shift (Monday to Friday, 2:50 pm - 10:30 pm CST). What will you do? - The individual will plan, develop and implement a wide variety of quality improvement projects/programs using a generalist knowledge of quality and manufacturing processes
- Participate in new product development projects, providing/executing quality plans, participating in part approvals and participating in design/project reviews.
- Assist in maintaining and improving a quality system based on ISO9000 standards and conduct audits of that system.
- Participate in, facilitate and assist in providing training for quality improvement teams using quality improvement/problem solving models including, Process Mapping, etc.
What qualifications will make you successful? - Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical Engineering / Tech, or any related field is required.
- 3-5 years' experience minimum in quality, or a related field.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma tools, 8D problem solving methodology, tool utilization (i.e. 5 Whys, Fishbone (cause & effect) DMAIC, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow, Process Auditing, Process Capability analysis, ISO, and Poka Yoke design.

- Statistical techniques and analysis
- Auditing and assessing techniques
- Prior experience in Quality planning.
