Job Description: The Internal Audit Intern will assist experience internal auditors in performing various University audits and help the department achieve its objectives. The overall objective of Internal Audit is to provide all levels of university management and the Baylor Board of Regents with an independent assessment of the quality of the University's internal controls and administrative processes and to provide recommendations and suggestions for continuous improvement.
Functions of the Position:
Perform purchasing card and expense report audits
Assist in the performance of various audits and reviews
Introduction to internal auditing
Answer phones and greet guests on an as-needed basis
Filing and clerical responsibilities as-needed
Required Skills:
Strong technology skills in Microsoft Excel and Word and Adobe Acrobat
Strong communication and writing skills
Ability to collaborate within a team environment Learning
