Compensation:

• Starting rate of $20-25.00/hour depending on experience

• Eligible for annual & skill-based wage increases

Shifts Available:

• 2nd: 2:00pm – 10:30pm + $1.00/hr differential pay

• 3rd: 10:00pm – 6:30am + $1.50/hr differential pay

*must be available to work weekends

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Thermoforming Machine Operator to join our team at our facility in Santa Fe Springs, CA. As a Thermoforming Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining thermoforming machines to produce high-quality plastic products. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with thermoforming experience and a passion for machine operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate thermoforming machines to produce plastic products according to specifications and quality standards
• Perform machine setups for production runs, including adjusting machine settings, installing molds, and loading materials
• Monitor machine operations to ensure smooth production flow and identify any issues or malfunctions
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns
• Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments to machine settings to meet specifications
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as Machine Operator in the plastics manufacturing industry

• 2+ years operating thermoforming machines

• Strong knowledge of thermoforming processes and techniques

• Ability to perform machine setups for production runs

• Demonstrated abilities as a team player, good coorperation, and communication skills

• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs

• Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues

• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials when required
