Position: Trusts & Estates Associate

Location: Hartford CT

Our firm is seeking a Trusts & Estates associate to join our dynamic estate planning and trust administration practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement longterm estate planning strategies for highnetworth clients.
• Draft estate planning documents for a variety of estates.
• Handle all aspects of the probate process including postmortem estate and tax planning.
• Prepare estate tax returns and trust and estate income tax returns.
• Advise institutional clients closelyheld businesses and charitable organizations on fiduciary administration including legal and tax complexities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Trusts & Estates law.
• Experience working with highnetworth clients on comprehensive estate planning and fiduciary matters.
• J.D. degree from an ABAaccredited law school.
• Active member in good standing of the Connecticut Bar.
• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar is a plus.
