Job Description: Warehouse Technician III
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: HS/GED, 3+ years' experience.
Warehouse Technician III needed for an industrial fabrication shop. Reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and will be responsible for coordinating and expediting flow of material, parts, assemblies and finished product in accordance with production, shipping schedules and supervisors' priorities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: - - Receives and stores materials in a warehouse or storage facility.
- Use of Job Boss manufacturing system to track all transactions.
- Generate travelers from MRFs'for material.
- Receive/closeout travelers once material received.
- Generate travelers for service of equipment.
- Review production schedules and confer with supervisors to determine material requirements and identify overdue items. - Locate material, requisition material and establishes delivery sequences to departments according to job order priorities and anticipated availability of material. Tag all material received according to the proper month received with all the identifying markings.
- Arrange internal transfer of material and finished products to meet production/delivery schedules and its transportation to internal departments, external locations.
- Examine material delivered to the production team to verify it meets material specifications. - Monitor and control movement of material, parts and finished products. - Issue and maintain record logs of consumables, tools, and materials to shop employees. - Route and assign material to storage locations. - Serve as a liaison between purchasing department and the production team.
- Track consumables, metal, and tooling. - Complete material requisition forms. - Source and obtain vendor estimate for material and tool replacement parts and repairs. - Stage finished products and components in preparation for shipping to external locations. - Schedule freight shipments. -
- Prepare shipping documents and create DD-1149 forms. - Record shipment data, such as weight, costs, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or record keeping purposes. - Ship and receive material. - Verify materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and any damages. -
- Maintain electronic files, records, and packing lists; and reconcile outstanding/delinquent orders. - Operate company owned motor vehicles, forklifts, and/or other equipment as needed.
- This role is flexible in areas but not limited to the warehouse and subject to rotate to different areas for support.
HS/GED Required Qualifications : 3+ years' experience receiving and tracking material, maintaining an inventory, procurement, preparing shipments, and assembling kits. - Proficient in MS Office Applications, Word, and Excel. - Possess good communication and organizational skills. - Detail oriented. - Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience operating forklift.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $22.10 - $29.90. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
