The End-User Computing Systems Technician, II performs the installation, repair and preventative maintenance of personal computers and related systems.

Must be able to commute to either Lincolnshire, IL or Morris Plains, NJ 5 days per week.

• 
  Performs the installation, repair and preventative maintenance of personal computer and related systems.
• Assists in determining suitable software to meet user requirements.
• Troubleshoots software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when they relate to personal (desktop or laptop) computers.
• May assist Network Administrator.
• May be internal and external client-focused for company-hosted web-enabled solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent experience of 1 year preventative maintenance of personal computers and related systems.

• Minimum 1+ years of experience.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues on laptops and desktops.
• Familiarity with common operating systems like Windows, macOS, and Linux, as well as basic network troubleshooting.

P referred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with remote desktop support tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow).
• Knowledge of endpoint management solutions (e.g., SCCM, Intune, or Jamf) for deploying and maintaining systems.
• Ability to diagnose technical issues efficiently and implement effective solutions.
• Critical thinking to prioritize and manage multiple issues concurrently under time constraints.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively assist non-technical users.
• A focus on delivering excellent customer service and ensuring user satisfaction.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator, or equivalent experience.

Salary: USD 42200.00 - USD 63400.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
